Oh. The failure. This should be a crime. One of the comments on the Crunchyroll page for the preview even stated “and i thought america knew how to screw up good anime,” naturally I gave this a thumbs up but from what I just saw the preview of the op was just the beginning of how bad it really was.

Shugo Chara Egg was downright boring. Shugo Chara Pucchi Puchi reminded me of Mermaid Melody PPP (copycats) and I even skipped all of that. So basically I now limited my usual 20 min of nice Shugo Chara to just 10 min of really bad Shugo Chara.

The new op-RECYCLED! Recycled from old ops and clips from the 1st and 2nd seasons! They didn’t even bother to create new scenes for it! The only thing different was when they added in pictures of Hikaru and the new girl (both wearing Seiyo Gakuen school uniforms so hopefully we’ll see Hikaru a bit more) and those weren’t even clips! They looked like the pictures from when Shugo Chara first came out and those were the most popular to mask! and that Tadamu scene was fail. Barely any amuto and all the amuto there was old….so very old. Utau was shown as the picture too and then later as Seraphic Charm (OLD) from her Taiyou ga Niau Yo ep. The amuto pic in that scene was so obivously picture…-FAIL, no wait. FAIL was when they had a guardian group pic and Nadeshiko and Kukai were off to the side. True they were bigger but if Nadeshiko was on the same side as Kukai, I’ll willing to bet we won’t see him much this season. At least Utau got in an anime clip, Kukai just had a picture appearance. and LOL Kairi wasn’t even shown!

The ep itself, if you can call it an ep- okish. Introductions of a new clumsy air headed girl. But then when isn’t the girl an airhead in anime? They explained to her about the whole guardian character and guardians but nothing real exciting happened till they actually had to fight an x-egg and she just so happened to come by and watch and then start talking to it. Someone who can talk to x eggs? Ohhhhhh…so THATS how they’re guna make new eps. Introduce yet another new filler character and have her talk to x-eggs and even befriend them as seen near the end. Interesting idea, I’d like to see how that turns out but alas I still think its horrible.

and now even a preview of next week to not look forward to. and Pandora Hearts ended too! NEED NEW WEEKLY ANIME TO LOOK FORWARD TO
